Come see this romantic comedy with a conscience, inspired by a true love story between a Jewish New Yorker and a beautiful Iraqi Kurdish refugee. Written, produced and directed by Iraqi Kurdish exile Jay Jonroy.
The message is about peace and the beauty and laughter that come from embracing diversity. Emergency will be present with an info table at the 7pm show and will participate to the Q&A session with the film Director Jay Jon Roy .
Emergency has been operating in Iraqi Kurdistan since March 1995. It opened two surgical centers for war victims and many other health activities in the northern region of the country where the Kurdish people live, Sulaimaniya (1995) and Erbil (1998).
