EMERGENCY: Afghanistan to Nicaragua
Photo Exhibit of Afghanistan by Renee Rosenstee
Dr. Gino Strada defied the threats of the deadliest places on the planet and brings healing and hope to civilian war victims.
The humanitarian organization he founded, EMERGENCY, builds and maintains hospitals clinics worldwide.
In July 2006, the renowned photojournalist Renee Rosensteel documented the heroic work of the EMERGENCY staff in Afghanistan, the oldest and largest of the organization's missions.
This exhibit initiates the fund raising efforts for the newest project, a maternal and infant healthcare center in Nicaragua.
